Job Description

Lead and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring that repairs are fast-tracked and executed efficiently. You will be responsible for:

1. Equipment uptime and reliability (OEE)
2. Building of new process specific equipment
3. Adherence to the preventive maintenance schedule
4. Reduction in maintenance costs and equipment downtime
5. Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
6. Efficiency in spare parts management and procurement

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, OR Trade Qualification such as Millwright / Electrician / Fitter with relevant experience.

Skills

7-10 years' experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a steel fabrication or related industry. Proven experience in managing a team of maintenance professionals (multi-skilled). Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and tools, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). In-depth understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication machinery. Experience with equipment such as CNC machines, welding equipment, furnaces, cranes, and hoists used in steel fabrication.
