Quality Manager

Purpose: Perform effective risk management and plan the business unit's financial strategy aligned to the overall strategic direction of the Group. Providing support to ensure business decision making, strategy formulation & implementation as well as enabling the business unit to meet their financial key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead a team of financial professionals in various stages of their career to guarantee operational and strategic outcomes from compliant transactional accounting to strategic investment for future growth.

This is a 4 months contract role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Implement a strategic plan that accounts for current and future market forces and movements.
2. Manage the effectiveness of all processes, systems and controls, including the identification and mitigation of strategic risk.
3. Provide thought leadership and embed a culture of innovation through leveraging intellectual property and facilitating strategic innovation within the finance environment.
4. Ensure the accuracy of the accounting and financial information contained in the group's accounting systems.
5. Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasts within strategic guidelines, directing and coordinating activities to achieve revenue achievement and cost containment.
6. Define, measure, and analyse the KPIs and operational metrics and processes to deliver insight into the business strategic, operational, and financial performance.
7. Prepare and coordinate the delivery of regular reporting as required by key stakeholders.
8. Conduct analyses of BUs and determine the steps necessary for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation by providing thought-leadership, root-cause analysis, and proposing solutions.
9. Analyse financial performance of the supported BUs to determine focus areas, risks, and opportunities.
10. Participate in management and leadership forums of the supported business unit to influence business decisions to align with finance objectives of the business unit and group.
11. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure finance and business needs are understood, supported, and delivered on.
12. Establish and foster a culture of performance excellence, employee engagement, and transformation.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

1. B Com; CA / SA; MBA will be an advantage.
2. 8 years' experience, of which at least 4 years must be at a Senior management level.
3. The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector.
4. Proven business acumen with experience in C-suite stakeholder engagement.
5. Min 4 years experience at Manager level FBP.
6. Analytical skills.
7. Budgets / forecast (modelling advantageous).
8. Implementing process (advantageous).
9. SAP experience.
