Responsibilities

Job Overview: Implementation and management of quality and food safety in the plant.

1. Verification of monitoring equipment and devices
2. GMP Inspections
3. Raising food safety near misses and follow-ups
4. Process quality verification and validation
5. OPRP and CCP verifications
6. Traceability and Mock Recall
7. Documentation management and record keeping
8. Prepared and maintained laboratory ingredients and equipment
9. Sampled raw materials, packaging & finished products
10. Tested routine raw materials, packaging & finished products
11. Analysed & computed data & recorded information
12. Applied laboratory hygiene & safety procedures

Qualifications

1. 1-2 years relevant experience
2. Grade 12
3. National Diploma or Degree in Food Technology or relevant qualification
4. Self-driven
5. Self-motivated
6. Results focused
