Responsibilities

Job Overview: Implementation and management quality and food safety in the plant.

  • Verification of monitoring equipment and devices
  • GMP Inspections
  • Raising food safety near misses and follow-ups
  • Process quality verification and validation
  • OPRP and CCP verifications
  • Traceability and Mock Recall
  • Documentation management and record keeping
  • Prepared and maintained laboratory ingredients and equipment
  • Sampled raw materials, packaging & finished products
  • Tested routine raw materials, packaging & finished products
  • Analysed & computed data & recorded information
  • Applied laboratory hygiene & safety procedures

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma or Degree in Food Technology or relevant qualification
  • Self-driven
  • Self-motivated
  • Results focused
