Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join their dynamic team. Individuals who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to apply.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
Proven experience as a Quality Controller in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, preferably in brewing
Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
Proficiency in using lab equipment and quality control software
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to beer production
Ability to stand for extended periods
Work in a production environment with exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, and other manufacturing conditions
Driver's license
Duties will include:
Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards
Monitor and assess the production processes, identifying and addressing any deviations from quality standards
Implement and maintain quality control systems, including documentation and record-keeping
Collaborate with production and brewing teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
Develop and update quality control procedures and protocols as needed
Train production staff on quality control processes and best practices
Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and recommend corrective actions
Participate in internal and external audits and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly
Assist the Production team with daily quality checks
