Quality Control Laboratory Technician

The incumbent will be responsible for internal and external customer services and adherence to customer specific requirements related to IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and company Responsible Care system relevant to this position and other relevant quality standards.

Duties Will Include The Following:

• Testing of samples from Effluent and company Manufacturing facilities.
• Assist with routine checking on formulations and product data.
• Problem solving – conduct troubleshooting, internally and externally.
• Keeping workstations tidy – adherence to 5 “S” programme.
• Preparation of Laboratory samples, as and when required.
• Complete MSA studies as and when required.
• Complete Waste management activities as and when required.
• Complete GRF activities as and when required.
• Comply with IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and EHS, including Responsible Care procedures and other company policies.
• Contribute to the achievement of laboratory objectives and targets and ensure continual improvement.
• Attending to any reasonable request that the QC Manager sees fit from time to time.
• Operate analytical instruments (ICP-OES, IC, FTIR and Rheometer) and assist with the development of test methods.
• Ensure equipment calibration as and when required.
• Updating SAP for QC release of raw materials, finished goods, and merchandise goods.
