Provide support to production management with processing and assist to provide solutions to problems that support quality and food safety.
Actively manage procedural review and implementation of new policies and procedures.
Assess quality reports from QC checks and provide data trend summaries weekly/monthly to management.
Stay up to date and informed on all food safety and quality regulations, both local and international, governing the site and products. Ensure site is always compliant and be fully involved in external audits.
Be a part of the Food Safety Team and uphold Food Safety Principles across all sites.
Hold responsibility for the QC team to be fully trained and understand principals of Food Safety Manual.
Analyse non-conformances and follow up on completion of corrective action.
Manage customer specifications and be able to communicate to the customer on any quality issues or non-conforming issues on behalf of the business.
