QA Co-ordinator - Montague Gardens

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist with ISO 9001 knowledge and experience in engineering, steel, or laser cutting. The ideal candidate has a QA qualification/certificate, strong quality control expertise, and at least five years of experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring inspections
• Conducting internal audits
• Training employees
• Handling non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Ensuring compliance with quality procedures
• Maintaining records
• Working closely with management to drive improvements

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with mathematics
• 5 years knowledge of ISO 9001
• Experience in the engineering, steel or laser cutting industry
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, techniques, and tools
• Quality assurance qualification or certificate
• Must have a Code 8 driver's licence
• Computer Literate (Microsoft package)
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• Active listener and excellent communication skills

Key accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring Quality Assurance system procedures and work instructions are adhered to, including maintenance and safety
• Checking whether line inspections are done correctly
• Checking whether QA inspections are done on operations levels
• Training new employees on work instructions and inspections methods
• Ensuring high QA records are safely stored and maintained
• Investigating and handling customers' complaints timeously
• Investigating, reporting on NCRs, and following up on corrective action requests
• Conducting regular internal audits on Q.M.S.
• Liaising with management representative when procedures need to be amended
• Liaising with Directors when procedures are not followed and on reasons for rejections
