CS Group is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team! CS Group is a beverage manufacturer of premium juice, juice mixers, lemonade and more! CS Group is the only beverage manufacturer that does business like we do, and we do it well with prestigious customers across the country.

**This is an in-office role located in Hazelwood, MO**

Our Purchasing Manager will:

1. Execute the purchasing plan provided by the VP of Supply communicating with Accounting to issue Purchase Orders
2. Daily point of contact with vendors
3. Collaborate with Quality team to conduct annual supplier reviews, and for vetting new suppliers
4. Run MRP daily revealing PO's needed, confirming accuracy before entering and submitting to vendors
5. Research suppliers and prices
6. Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers
7. Prepare orders and send them to suppliers
8. Track supply shipments
9. Ensure purchasing stays on budget
10. Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
11. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of food products
12. Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers

Qualifications for this role:

1. 2+ years' experience in Manufacturing Purchasing
2. Analytical skills to evaluate options and choose suppliers
3. Communication skills to provide clear information to suppliers
4. Decision-making skills to make informed choices about products
5. Interpersonal skills to negotiate terms and resolve issues diplomatically
6. Adaptability and flexibility to be able to work interdepartmentally
