Overview:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Executive to join our team remotely. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for building a community presence through earned media. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both consumer-facing and B2B PR and be able to manage PR initiatives for multiple companies. Experience in the U.S. market is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Community Engagement: Act as a community-facing representative for the company, securing opportunities for the company to participate in local events, community programs, and sponsorships.
• Earned Media: Focus exclusively on earned media opportunities, securing coverage on TV, radio, magazines, and other media platforms. Your primary goal will be generating organic media coverage and amplifying the company’s presence.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, ensuring regular media attention and exposure in relevant publications and broadcasts.
• Event Bookings: Secure speaking engagements, event participation, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility at community events.
• PR Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to increase brand visibility, secure media coverage, and engage the public.
• PR Campaigns: Lead and manage PR campaigns for multiple brands simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company objectives and media goals.
• Content Creation: Create press releases, media pitches, and PR-related content targeting consumer and B2B audiences.
• Reporting & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on PR metrics and media coverage, adjusting strategies to maximize impact.
Qualifications:
• Relevant qualifications with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a PR role, preferably in the U.S. market.
• Strong media connections with TV, radio, print, and online publications.
• Experience in both consumer-facing and B2B PR is essential.
• Ability to manage PR for multiple brands simultaneously and effectively.
• Highly driven, with a passion for earned media and community engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment and meet deadlines.
