Public Area Cleaning Supervisor – POS25128

Area : Polokwane, Limpopo (live-in)

Salary R12000 – R14000 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a public cleaning supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations in public spaces, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.

Requirements :

• Previous experience in cleaning or facilities management 3 - 5 years
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety practices.
• Supervisory experience can be an asset.
• Leadership skills and abilities and attention to Detail.
• Time Management
• Problem-Solving

Responsibilities :

1. Supervision: Manage and coordinate cleaning staff, assigning tasks and scheduling shifts.
2. Quality Control: Inspect cleaned areas to ensure they meet established standards. Provide feedback and training as needed.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
4. Safety Compliance: Ensure that cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.
5. Reporting: Document cleaning activities, incidents, and any maintenance needs, reporting them to management.
6. Training: Provide training and guidance to new cleaning staff on procedures and safety practices.
7. Communication: Liaise with other departments or external agencies to coordinate cleaning efforts as needed.
8. Problem-Solving: Address any issues or complaints regarding cleanliness and develop solutions.
