Property Manager (Asset & Facilities)

We are looking for an experience Property Manager - Assets & Facilities. The focus of the role is the management and maintenance of the company's property portfolio, which ranges from agricultural properties, office buildings, mill and processing facilities, factories, and residential houses. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing budgets, supervising maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and effectively managing the company's assets. The position is based in Stellenbosch, Cape Town.

Experience And Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role with exposure to all facility management disciplines will be advantageous.
• Asset management: Prior experience in a manufacturing industry / facility management will be beneficial.
• Project Management: Proven track record of engineering, maintenance, assets life cycles projects.
• Experience in managing large-scale maintenance projects (e.g., renovations, facility upgrades) across diverse property types.
• Operation Performance: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Risk Management: Identify possible risks and implement mitigation strategies (PPM).
• Technical Skills & Experience: Understand various maintenance methodologies and industry best standards. Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems), and any specialized equipment used in mills or factories.
• Technical skills and knowledge of equipment.
• Administration: Compiling SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and reporting structures.
• Knowledge of Agricultural & Industrial Facilities: Understanding of the operational needs and maintenance for agricultural properties (such as irrigation systems, storage facilities) and processing plants or factories. Previous experience with factories, mills, or other industrial facilities is highly valuable, given the complexity of managing large-scale equipment and operational.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in either Facilities Management, Real Estate, Property Management, OR a related field like Construction Management or Business Administration.
