Our client is a provider of efficient lighting solutions and they are looking for a Project Sales & Business Development Manager to join their team in Cape Town.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Business Development in South Africa (Phase 1) and Sub Sahara (Phase 2)
- Establish a partner network for commissioning of lighting control systems (both Indoor and Outdoor)
- Drive Project and Solution Sales together with Business Development, e.g. generate sales outside the OEM area
- Drive Pre-sales and pilot-phases of new products in South Africa
- Network development (system integrators, lighting and electrical designers, specifiers, end customers) to make company products and solutions available to a wider market
- Create references in South Africa for further usage in other Solution Sales Regions
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- Completed training or degree in a relevant field, e.g. Electrical Engineer, Electrical Installer or similar
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 2+ years of professional experience in a similar role
- B2B Sales, Project Management
- Start-up experience and mentality
- Knowledge of MS Suites / SAP / etc.
- Willingness to travel
- Ready to build a network of partners for sustainable success
