Project Manager, Maintenance and Constrauction

Please note that this position is based in The Middle East, relocation, accommodation and additional benefits apply. The Project Manager will be responsible for creating the project plan & specifications of buildings in the highest standard & quality, and follow up the work progress from A to Z, providing weekly updates to management, and maintaining adequate inventory of raw materials, installation, and packaging material. Additionally, inventing new designs, reducing waste, and cutting unnecessary costs are essential. Tank maintenance experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing detailed project plans: Define the scope of the project and assign team members to specific tasks, ensuring resource availability and allocation while delivering every project on time within budget and scope. Develop the Master Project Plan.
2. Prepare the master project schedule: Based on contract terms, prepare the Project Schedule.
3. Review project plans and specifications: Ensure they meet the highest quality standards and comment on building design, effective scheduling, possible cost-saving measures, and potential construction problems.
4. Budgetary estimation: Compare budgetary estimates with actual expenditure. Conduct Budget Analysis.
5. Project Tracking: Monitor weekly and monthly targets based on the Project Schedule, managing all levels of project activities such as indenting, purchase order placement, engineering documents, dispatch, and site erection activities.
6. Co-ordination with consultants & vendors: Finalize technical specifications and monitor department-wise checklists.
7. Study contract documents: Prepare job instructions and project-specific procedures.
8. Coordinating with stakeholders: Liaise with clients, vendors, sub-vendors, engineering, procurement & construction teams, workshops, logistics, Q.C., store departments, and other project authorities to track deliverables and ensure smooth project functioning.
9. Monitor safety: Ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements are enforced.
