Job Description

The Project Manager’s main responsibility will be analyzing the requirements of the new projects, developing and managing project roadmaps, working with the engineering team to develop user stories, development tasks, and manage scrum flow. The project manager should have business analyst experience, excellent people management skills, and a strong knowledge of requirements management in both business and technical environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities (Project Manager):


  1. Lead projects from inception through deployment, identifying schedules and deadlines, scope, estimations, and risks. Develop project implementation plans.
  2. Report on project status, risks, and outcomes. Revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met. Escalate issues as necessary.
  3. Ensure that the organizational project management standards are met and enforced. Help evolve and improve these standards.
  4. Work with engineering teams to define and create user stories/tasks, manage agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, stand-ups, etc.).
  5. Work internally with project managers to coordinate cross-organizational teams for delivery.
  6. Manage integrations of technical systems at an enterprise scale.
  7. Work with business, compliance, and marketing stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product delivery.
  8. Participate in the elaboration of product portfolios, aligned to strategic objectives.
  9. Work with external B2B partners to manage API integrations, provide support, and understand initiatives.
  10. Help to maintain product documentation.

Other Duties as Assigned (Business Analyst):


  1. Analyze stakeholder and users’ requests and identify the underlying goals.
  2. Clarify business needs and translate them into concise and effective user stories.
  3. Define effective acceptance criteria to support development, manual and automated testing, and validation by stakeholders.
  4. Conduct interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions.
  5. Coordinate and gather feedback from UAT and product review sessions.
  6. Collaborate with product owners for creating and maintaining product backlogs.

Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in information technology. Similar experience in systems/business analysis is a plus.
  2. Technical background, with strong understanding or hands-on experience in software development.
  3. Leadership and team building experience.
  4. Experience on project management/software lifecycle tools (Jira, Targetprocess, Azure DevOps, Redmine, etc.).
  5. Experience in Agile/Lean Development environments (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
  6. Experience in Agile business analysis, product backlog management, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria is a plus.
  7. Project management education and/or certification (such as PMP / PRINCE II) is a plus.
  8. Flexibility/Adaptability & Managing Change.
  9. Analytical thinking.
  10. Organization and planning.
  11. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  12. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
