About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced UK-based retail e-commerce company. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in e-commerce, retail operations, and digital project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various projects, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and successful execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop, manage, and oversee project plans from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales, operations, merchandising, and IT, to streamline project execution.
  • Maintain strong communication with external vendors, merchants, and third-party service providers.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all projects comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines.
  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in project deliverables.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze project performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports, summarizing project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to provide direction, guidance, and feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within retail, e-commerce, or digital environments.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong e-commerce and digital operations experience, ideally from companies like Takealot or Amazon.
  • Excellent Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and execute under tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing at least 5 team members.
