Project Implementation/IT Manager (manufacturing company)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager/IT Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for project management of patchwork projects in the digitalization space, IT management (outsourced IT - infrastructure and networking), and cyber security.
The primary focus of the role is managing software implementations and moving systems forward with digitalization and some AI.
You will form part of the management team and work closely with the CEO and CFO and be a driving force in the organization’s digital transformation.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
You will be working with Material requirement planning, production assemblies, linking stock, ERP systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a middle layer manufacturing company, not a large corporate.

Qualifications required:
IT degree/diploma/certification
Project management qualification
The environment uses: SQL, Python, Microsoft suite, Gira, Confluence, Syspro

Experience required:

• Five to seven years of experience in a similar role working with a combination of software implementation and hardware infrastructure.
• Very strong project management experience and hands-on working style.
• Experience in designing and launching digital platforms.
• Ability to identify new tools (AI, digital, CRM) that can support and enhance solutions.
• Understanding of core business processes and their associated technical solutions.
• Experience in managing and leading a team.
• Proven skills in influencing and collaborating with co-workers.
