Project Engineer - Silverton

Position: Project Engineer
Location: Gauteng, Pretoria East (Market related)
Industry: Automotive

My client in the Automotive industry in Silverton Pretoria is looking for a Project Engineer from the Automotive Industry to assist with scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy. Only applicants from the Automotive Industry will be considered.

Minimum Requirements:

1. BEng/BTech (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic, Electrical) or equivalent
2. Project Management Certification - Advantageous
3. 2 - 5 years' Automotive experience
4. Six Sigma Green Belt - Advantageous
5. Basic problem solving Certification - 8D / 5Why

The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.

Additional Qualifications:

1. Project Planning - Advantageous
2. Proven ability to solve problems creatively
3. Strong familiarity with Project Management Software tools, methodologies, and best practices
4. Experience seeing projects through the full cycle
5. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
