Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Control - Contracts Advisor with 12+ years of expertise in contract management, procurement, and project controls for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract negotiation, risk mitigation, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project execution. This role requires expert knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, project control methodologies, and industry-specific compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on contract management, procurement, and project control activities for complex, high-value projects.
• Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, tenders, and procurement agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
• Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize project performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, finance, and stakeholders to resolve contractual disputes and mitigate risks.
• Conduct contract performance evaluations and enforce adherence to terms and conditions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project control reports, including cost forecasts, risk assessments, and progress updates.
• Implement project control tools and methodologies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives, contractual obligations, and stakeholder expectations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 12+ years of experience in project controls, contract management, or procurement.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and project control methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oil and gas, construction, or energy sectors.
• Familiarity with industry-specific contract types (e.g., EPC, FIDIC, NEC, PSA, JOA).
• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies for large-scale contracts.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
