What You Will Do

As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and governance for VZI projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate project accounting in line with company policies
• Prepare financial and management reports, including project reporting and MIS management
• Manage project cash flow and financial planning
• Monitor budgeting and forecasting, assisting project teams in financial adherence
• Ensure compliance with governance, auditing, and statutory reporting
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and compliance

Requirements
What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• BCom Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification
• 5 years' finance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a mining/projects environment
• Registration as a CA (SA), CPA, or CIMA (highly advantageous)
• Proficiency in SAP
• Excellent financial acumen
• Valid Code B Driver's License
• Ability to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness
