Our Pediatric Vaccines Division is searching for a motivated and competitive pharmaceutical sales representative to become a key link between our company and healthcare professionals.

You must have exceptional people skills, attention to detail, and a persuasive personality to thrive in this fast-paced position.

As a National Pediatric Vaccine's sales rep, you will need to promote our products to address customer needs.

Your goal will be to increase the visibility of our products and to maximize sales on a national level.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  1. Assess client needs and promote suitable products.
  2. Meet with targeted doctors and health care providers and utilize sales skills to persuade them to prescribe the company's products.
  3. Attend sales meetings, conference calls and training sessions.
  4. Build strong business relationships with customers, leading to satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Work closely together with the Vaccines Cross Functional Team to achieve territory portfolio objectives.
  6. Share all information with colleagues through the CRM system and other tools to ensure that the customer information is continuously updated.
  7. Use data from the CRM as well as other data and own experience to ensure an update of the customer's information.
  8. Promote products ethically and within compliance based on the company's sales process and approved marketing strategy.
  9. Arrange appointments with Pediatricians, Pharmacists, Hospitals, Nurses, Netcare Mother & Baby Wellness Clinics and all relevant stakeholders.
  10. Make presentations to targeted doctors and medical personnel for this portfolio.
  11. Organize continued medical education (CME) for doctors and other medical staff.
  12. Perform training on company brands to medical professionals and accounts.
  13. Adhere to operational effectiveness requirements.
  14. Manage budgets (for catering, outside speakers, conferences, hospitality, etc.).

To be able to respond timeously on business issues within a short timeframe.

  4. Ability to work effectively under intense stress and pressure especially in a crisis/issue.
  5. Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and health issues.

Position Qualifications

Degree/diploma in the medical or para-medical field and/or BSC Degree will be advantageous.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum of 5 Years Pharmaceutical selling experience in the Vaccines environment.
