Duties and Responsibilities:

• To deliver safe, comprehensive and quality patient care, with specific reference to renal disease treatment and education, according to the Scope of Practice and Renal Care policies and procedures.
• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
• Identify, prevent, and manage risks, ensuring patient safety.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all patient interventions.
• Ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current registration with SANC.
• An additional qualification in Nephrology Nursing will be advantageous.
• Minimum of one year work experience in a Renal Unit.
• Sound knowledge of nursing activities, procedures, and patient care as per scope of practice.
• Competent in the demonstration and assessment of relevant clinical procedures.
