Professional Architect

SNAPP Architects (Pty) Ltd Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

The ideal candidate will be a SACAP registered professional architect with extensive hospital / healthcare experience.

Must be REVIT savvy.

This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all architectural stages, from inception to close-out and SANS.

Fluency in English and Afrikaans is mandatory.

Additional languages are advantageous.

Core characteristics required are dependability, integrity and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

1. Implementation of principal agency and principal consultancy duties
2. Produce concept designs, design development, municipal and construction drawings
3. Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
4. Oversee and make recommendations throughout the entire construction process
5. Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets

Qualifications

1. Five-year bachelors or masters degree in architecture
2. 5+ years post registration experience in the built environment
3. Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
4. Proficient in REVIT
