University degree in industrial or production engineering, or a similar field.
5+ years of manufacturing-related experience with hands-on operational knowledge.
Preferably 2 years of practical experience in an automotive industry manufacturing environment.
Production supervisor experience (preferred).
Experience working in an organization with a well-implemented "Safety Culture" (preferred).
Responsibilities & Duties
Orientate, control, and supervise the activities of production associates with the team leaders/shift leaders.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety technician rules.
Discuss safety issues periodically with associates during pre-shift meetings, in alignment with daily safety requirements.
Achieve production targets in terms of headcount, time, cost, and quality.
Promote and implement kaizen and 5S to ensure efficient and continuous improvement to meet planned targets.
Coordinate production targets with other departments.
Identify and coordinate productivity improvements.
Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Plant Manager or department heads, including production reports, attendance reports, timesheets, and KPI follow-ups.
Monitor and control absenteeism, taking necessary actions to minimize its impact.
Track OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and ensure the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
Participate in FMEA processes and collaborate with engineering to create or update work instructions.
Define and follow up on action plans to reduce scrap and rework.
