Hire Resolve is currently assisting a leading manufacturing company based in Vereeniging in their search for a Production Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the production department, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
Ensure that production targets are met or exceeded while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
Implement and monitor production KPIs and take appropriate actions to address any issues or deviations.
Optimize production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Lead and motivate the production team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
Monitor and control production budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Experience in production processes and systems.
Production planning experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and people management.
Inventory control and management experience.
Quality management experience.
