Minimum Requirements
Three years’ experience in a similar role.
Matric Certificate.
Relevant three year Degree.
Baking Experience.
FMCG Experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Admin
Ensures that PPRs draw into the backflush system and that it balances to Syspro.
Completes the daily, weekly and monthly silo stock reconciliation.
Declares variances on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Analyzes PPR for any deviations and cost analysis.
Compiles daily action plan.
Prepares feedback report / results for weekly bakery managers meeting
Compiles a daily production plan based on sales orders.
Authorizes / approve requisitions for raw materials on a daily basis.
Works with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
People Management
Ensures communication sessions / team talks are held with staff in order to drive the company values and standard of leadership.
Monitors and reports non-attendance of staff.
Initiates disciplinary procedures where necessary.
Supervises and motivates a team of employees.
Reviews employees’ performance.
Identifies training needs.
Ensures that all new staff are trained and assessed on Standard Operating Procedures.
Coaches supervisors and high potential.
Occupational Health & Safety
Ensures compliance to all safety procedures.
Ensures employees attend safety training on an annual basis.
Ensures that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Food Safety and Quality.
Ensures compliance to all Food Safety requirements (FSSC 22000).
Ensures that all QC documents are completed.
Makes sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
Production Process
Oversees the production process.
Draws up a production schedule.
Ensures that the production is cost effective.
Works out the human and material resources needed.
Drafts a timescale for the job.
Estimates costs and setting the quality standards.
Monitors the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
Ensures the selection and maintenance of the equipment.
Monitors product standards and implements quality-control programmes.
Liases among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers.
