Job description

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

Managing the labour compliment in a disciplined and effective manner;
Strong administrative skills reliant upon accurate record keeping;
Management to achieve targets and objectives within a highly pressurized environment;
Managing within a strict bio-security environment;
Dealing with local and international professionals at various levels;
Managing machinery and equipment, stock control and equipment maintenance;
Implementing and maintaining 20 Keys.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

B.Sc Agric or Diploma in agriculture;
At least 5 years’ experience in a Breeder Production environment;
Experience in the management of a large poultry operation would be preferred;
A proven ability to achieve excellent Breeder performance;
Must be able to work under pressure;
Be in possession of a valid driver’s license;
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and proficiency in both English and Afrikaans are essential to this position;
Competency in budgeting is essential;
Strong administration and reporting skills.
