Production Manager (Beverage)

Hire Resolve is currently assisting one of the leading beverage companies in Johannesburg in their search for a skilled Production Manager. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the efficient and timely manufacturing of beverages.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing production plans to ensure effective resource allocation and production efficiency
• Monitoring and controlling production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs
• Managing and leading a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Collaborating with other departments such as supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure smooth production operations
• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of production equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams as necessary
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing measures to minimize workplace risks
• Analyzing production data and generating reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
• Managing production budgets and expenses to achieve cost targets

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in the beverage industry
• Strong knowledge of beverage production processes and equipment
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
