Production Manager

Our client based near the Piet Retief area is seeking a dynamic highly skilled Production Manager. This individual will lead a team of operators. Must have experience in Safety management and quality control systems.

Duties:

1. Ensure that planned production targets are achieved to specifications.
2. Monitor efficiencies and recommend improvements.
3. Plans and ensures effectiveness of routine maintenance.
4. Ensure that the laboratory provides an effective quality control service to production.
5. Ensure that production and safety standards are in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
6. Ensure effective performance of subordinates and teams.
7. Comply with the requirements of ISO and Quality management Systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Production Management.
• 5 years practical experience in an industrial process plant.
• 5 years’ experience in leading a team of operators
• 2 years’ experience in safety management and quality control systems.
• Microsoft 365.
• Ability to speak and write English and isiZulu.
