POSITION INFO : Job Description :

1. Manage and Co-ordinate line functions and ensure that production targets are met according to quality standards and customer requirements.
2. Ensure adequate resources are available.
3. Manage performance of sub-ordinates.
4. Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHE procedures and work instructions.

Job Requirements :

1. National Diploma Production Management / IE / ME
2. Minimum 5 years press shop experience in a supervisory capacity
3. Extensive technical background
4. Quality specifications and systems

Knowledge required :

1. Technical concepts
2. Production planning process
3. Quality specifications and systems
4. Consequences Management (Discipline and grievance procedure handling processes)
5. Understanding of budget, cost, expenditure & cost saving abilities
6. Computer Literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
7. Workplace Organisation
