Production Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager specializing in seafood to join our client's dynamic team. Our client is a leading seafood company that is dedicated to providing high-quality products to their customers.

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the seafood production process, ensuring the efficient and effective production of seafood products. You will manage a team of production supervisors and operators, ensuring that all operations are carried out in compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

In this role, you will also be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities, optimizing resource utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues and develop strategies to improve overall production performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the seafood production team, providing guidance and support
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand
• Optimize resource utilization and minimize waste
• Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate production records and reports

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in seafood production management
• Strong knowledge of seafood processing and production techniques
• Understanding of quality, safety, and hygiene standards in the seafood industry
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet production targets
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
