About the Role:

The main role of a Production Manager is to oversee the manufacturing process within a company and to ensure that production lines run without any problems and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead production team.
2. Improve productivity and eliminate wastage.
3. Implement lean practices.
4. Train and mentor employees at all levels.
5. Conduct value stream mapping to visualize current processes.
6. Facilitate cultural shifts towards Lean thinking by promoting a continuous improvement mindset, encouraging employee engagement, and addressing resistance to change.
7. Use analytical tools to eliminate challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications and Training:

Engineering degree or MBA in Operation management.

Soft Skills:

Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills Set:

1. Proven track record of implementation of lean practices.
2. Deep understanding of Lean principles & tools.
3. Data analysis.
4. Change management.
5. Leadership abilities.
6. Thorough understanding of labour laws.

Experience:

15yrs+ in operations in a leadership role.
