Production Associate

Main Purpose Of The Position

This position is accountable for operating equipment that mixes/grinds liquids and other materials used to manufacture paint and coatings. The Manufacturing Technician directly impacts the quality and quantity of product produced.

Core Activities Will Include

1. Feed raw materials into production machinery.
2. Operate production machinery.
3. Assemble goods on production lines.
4. Monitor the production process.
5. Fill and seal Paints.
6. Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
7. Remove, pack and sort materials.
8. Clean the area and remove production waste in accordance with disposal and recycling policies.
9. Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders – for employees with forklift license.

Qualifications Required

1. A Matric qualification or 2 years’ experience in a paint production environment.

Competencies Required

1. Good tinting and colour matching skills.
2. Excellent colour vision to enable best tinting and colour matching.
