Product Quality Auditor

As a member of the QAVM engineering team, the successful candidate will assume the role of a Product Quality Auditor.

This role involves ensuring the early detection of non-conformities, analyzing them according to Group guidelines, and ensuring they meet customer expectations.

The Product Quality Auditor will also be responsible for verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions taken.

Possible Tasks within this Role

1. To plan, define, co-ordinate and be accountable for Quality audits and inspections in Press, Body, and Paint shops.
2. To maintain and improve product quality by monitoring and reporting on nonconformances and processes.
3. Drive product improvements based on top faults detected by investigating root causes and initiating corrective actions to meet Konzern Quality standards and provide continuous improvements.
4. Ensure that the top defects identified during the audit and sign-off processes are known to the causing area by providing feedback to the sectional areas on the detected problems to create awareness at the operational levels.
5. Ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions by performing process monitoring and verification of the implemented actions to verify the closure of problem topics and escalate failures after breakpoints to the relevant area.

Qualification Requirements

1. Have a minimum National Diploma in one of the following engineering sciences (ND Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer).
2. Experience needed: Have 3-5 years experience within the manufacturing industry.
3. Have good report writing and presentation skills.
4. Have proven analytical and sound problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Sound knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing processes or related industry.
7. Detailed knowledge of Quality Assurance systems and processes.
8. Be assertive and have the ability to motivate.
9. Be a team player and be able to work under pressure.

Added Advantage

1. BSc Degree / B-Tech Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
2. Internal auditing experience.
