Job Functions:
- Responsible for the development & execution of the Joint Reconstruction sales and marketing strategy in close partnership with Functional Business Partners (Governmental Affairs, Communication, Prof Ed, Commercial Ed, HE&R, Finance / Analytics, Pricing, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Quality).
- Monitor market trends and dynamics, making timely adjustments to strategies to optimize sales performance and market penetration.
- Develop and execute product workshop activities and regional conferences to promote the Joint Reconstruction portfolio.
- Establish and oversee a competitive pricing strategy for the arthroplasty portfolio with the Pricing Department.
- Analyse market data and industry trends to inform pricing decisions and necessary adjustments for the platform.
- Launch new products through a structured roll out plan involving commercial, education and tailor-made marketing activities.
- Generate accurate prognosis and manage stock levels in collaboration with the Deliver team.
- Implement Product Training programmes together with Commercial Education and local Field Sales Trainers.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics and provide insights on the effectiveness of strategies implemented.
- Achieve national sales growth targets through CREDO based leadership.
- On time and accurate tender / RFQ submissions private and public.
- Develop influential relationships with National KOLs and decision makers within national customers, distributors, academic centres of excellence, funders, as well as head office groups.
- Utilise market intelligence to ensure appropriate strategies and tactics are implemented.
- Drive market research with Commercial Excellence partners and analytics to gain insights, prioritize resources and plan portfolio tactics.
- Work compliantly and within HCC and regulatory guidelines to achieve business goals.
- Regular travel required.
Qualification
BA / BS required.
Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes Required
- Minimum 3 years of meaningful experience in marketing and / or sales in the medical device industry.
- Knowledge of and experience in selling / marketing Joints Arthroplasty preferred.
- Experience in Digital and Omnichannel marketing.
- Strategic problem solver with marketing skills and experience in translating strategy into tactical marketing / selling plans.
- Experience in leading / mentoring multi-functional teams or projects.
- Adept at problem solving supported by strong analytical abilities.
- Effective communicator with proven experience in mentoring a sales team.
- Market development or value / demand creation through experience with customer and market insights.
- Proven track record of strong business results both in growth and market share gain.
- Agile at making things happen through managing relationships and networks effectively.
