Product Engineer - Design & Manufacture

Location: Johannesburg

Minimum requirements:

1. BEng/BTech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
2. Experience in new product designs
3. Minimum 5 years experience in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment
4. Project Management experience
5. Exposure to electronics is an advantage
6. Exposure to toolmaking is an advantage

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the product design phase to influence manufacturability, assembly, and cost.
2. Assist with the process of manufacturing products.
3. Provide technical support on assembly processes and component manufacturing processes.
4. Industrialisation and manufacturability.
