Procurement Officer

Procurement Officer job vacancy in Brackenfell.

Our client is looking for a driven Procurement Officer in Brackenfell, Cape Town with solid and sound experience in sourcing, purchasing goods, and pricing.

You will assist in supplier management, contract negotiation, pricing, and compliance.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 5 years plus experience in supply chain and procurement.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or retail procurement is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist to manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Process purchases.
• Research market trends and pricing to secure cost-effective procurement.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, supplier agreements, and purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics for timely deliveries.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyze spending patterns for cost-saving initiatives.
