Overview

Our client in the dairy industry is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for purchasing processes, and supplier management, while ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement in line with the company policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric
  • Post matric qualification in Finance/ Commerce/ Supply-Chain or relevant
  • 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or similar role in manufacturing
  • Familiar with ERP software
  • Proficient in MS Office

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, raise, and monitor purchase orders to support operational needs.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations, evaluating supplier options, and securing approvals following the Procurement Policy.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to clarify details, manage timelines, and address queries.
  • Support tender process to compile and update preferred supplier lists for various products and services.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on invoices and manage purchase order closures.
  • Handle supplier and internal queries, working to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide admin support, maintain procurement records, and assist in generating reports as required
