Main job function
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To develop, implement, and maintain prioritised process improvement projects, management information frameworks, and company-wide processes for business mapping.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Lead and govern process improvement projects and initiatives
Develop and monitor management information frameworks
Determine and track project benefits
Ensure business process mapping governance
Manage stakeholder relations
Lead and manage the people in the team
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering
Desired Professional Registration
Registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 years of relevant business process engineering/business analysis experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Hospital or healthcare environment experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Industrial engineering principles, techniques, and skills (e.g. root cause analysis, statistical analysis, operations research methods, business process re-engineering, etc.)
Creative, procedural, and non-procedural design and synthesis of solutions
Computers, networks, and information infrastructures for accessing, processing, managing, and storing information
Collaboration within a multidiscipline environment
Critical awareness of the sustainability and impact of engineering activity on the social, industrial, and physical environment
Economics, business management, and project management
