About the Role
The incumbent will be responsible for all process and technical related work in the water meter production process, providing production training and guidance to operators. Responsibilities include proposing equipment and tooling requirements, addressing equipment and tooling usage issues, and accepting equipment and tooling. The role also involves writing new product process information (SOP, Installation instructions, etc.), defining and maintaining the production operating environment, recording new product issues, solving production site problems, and assisting in production site and equipment planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing Process Information: Write SOP, installation instructions, etc., and ensure they are simple and reasonable for operators.
- New Product Introduction: Provide technical support during trial flow, record problems, propose tooling requirements, and participate in reviews.
- Process Guidance and Training: Provide operation guidance and training to production line operators, ensuring mastery of standard working methods.
- Production Line Capacity: Calculate and verify production capacity and standard working hours, maintaining accuracy.
- Exception Handling: Solve production process anomalies and ensure smooth production, controlling abnormal process downtime.
- Other Duties: Complete other tasks assigned by superiors, manage 5S in the inspection area, and improve production efficiency and quality stability.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
- National Diploma in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience:
- Must have 2+ years as a Process Engineer, with experience in water meter products, especially in ultrasonic large and small calibre production and manufacturing.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Proficient in new product introduction, production assembly, testing, packaging, and other processes.
- Proficient in using tools such as callipers and multi-meters.
- Proficient in simple problem solving.
- Proficient in using Office, ERP SAP, and AutoCAD.
- Familiar with water meter inspection standards and national standards.
- Strong execution and sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong learning ability and hands-on capability.
- Professional, self-motivated, and target-driven.
