The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Chemical Engineering and 3-5 years’ experience in Process Improvement/Optimization or Quality environment. This role calls for a person who is good at communication and has project management experience in a fast-paced environment with product development processes. Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time will ensure success in this role.
The role’s objective is to develop and introduce quality control and process improvements using the tools within the Q&PC Pillar linking through to step Zero of WCM (World Class Manufacturing). Your primary objective will be to improve the production performance KPIs focusing on the key areas of yield loss and cost reduction. You will also be involved in WCM projects within the plant that link to product quality and cover for the Senior Process Engineer as and when required. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving and supporting sustainability initiatives. To undertake these tasks in an efficient and safe manner, meeting with H&S legislation, company policy, and managers' rules.
