A global leader in the production and supply of high-quality protein feed ingredients for the animal feed industry is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to design, implement, and optimize systems and processes to improve the efficiency, safety, and reliability of industrial plants and manufacturing operations.

Minimum requirements for the role :
Must have an Engineering qualification
An additional Business qualification would be an added advantage
Strong experience in plant improvement projects and upgrades, including budgeting and feasibility studies will be required
Must have experience within a Poultry or Plant
Experience as a GMR2.1 appointee would be preferred
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Continuously optimizing and analyzing the processing plant preventative maintenance system.
Critically solving problems and utilizing key asset care techniques such as OEM, RCM, 5Why, and RCA processes.
Assisting with preventative scheduling, task lists, reports, and analyses to optimize plant uptime.
Ensuring effective utilization of the Pragma preventative maintenance and material management systems for all maintenance activities.
Developing asset care plans for critical equipment to achieve preventative maintenance.
Defining and implementing engineering standards, maintenance strategies, and asset integrity philosophies for property, plant, and equipment.
Managing contracts, planning, controlling, and implementing capital projects.
Assisting in compiling the annual maintenance budget and controlling it.
Implementing and maintaining sustainable projects on site that will improve plant running costs per unit.
Interacting daily with various departmental and inter-group role players at the management level.
