Role Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer with a strong background in process design, optimisation, and automation to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of complex processes, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process innovation, enhance system performance, and deliver scalable solutions that support our clients' business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of advanced processes to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Process Optimisation: Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of processes and systems.
• Process Automation: Develop and implement process automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance performance.
• Process Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance in operations.
• Process Audits & Assessments: Conduct in-depth process audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Data Analysis: Utilise data mining tools to discover process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology processes with other business functions and strategic initiatives.
• Training & Development: Develop and deliver training materials and programs to educate staff on new processes, technologies, and best practices.
• Project Management: Project manage the scope of initiatives and deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Technical Support: Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and other stakeholders.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process performance, improvement initiatives, and strategic recommendations.

Your Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar environment, with 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior management level.
• Process Engineering Expertise: Advanced knowledge of process engineering principles and methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma: Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt certification from a recognised institution.
• Process Modelling: Experience in process modelling tools such as ARIS, NIMBUS, and BPMN.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data mining tools and techniques to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Banking/Financial Services: Extensive experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Communication: Superior communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Process Automation: Experience in developing and implementing process automation solutions.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results within agreed timelines.
• Technical Tools: Experience with tools such as SigmaXL, Minitab, and other related applications.
• Regulatory Compliance: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the banking sector.
