Process Engineer

Job Title: Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving production processes within our clients organization. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Process Engineer will utilize their engineering expertise and industry experience to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with production teams to analyze current processes and systems, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
2. Lead initiatives to upgrade or develop new systems and technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities and meet operational goals.
3. Ensure that production processes comply with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
4. Implement measures to maintain and improve product quality.
5. Provide guidance and training to production personnel on new processes and technologies to ensure effective implementation and smooth operation.
6. Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor process performance, identify trends, and propose corrective actions or optimizations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a process engineering role, preferably within the food industry.
3. Proven track record of working collaboratively with production teams to improve processes and systems.
4. Experience in leadership roles, such as a year or two as a shift lead or stand-in shift lead, is advantageous.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent project management abilities with a focus on achieving results.
7. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards operational excellence.
8. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
9. Good communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
