Overall responsibility of projects, from sales through to design, project execution, commissioning and handover to Client. The main duties of the role will be as follows:
Assist the team to explore, identify, and define markets, clients, and opportunities in the relevant industry sectors.
Establish relevance of enquiry to company and our ability to comply to tender and contractual requirements.
Pose technical and commercial queries to client for enquiry clarification purposes.
Submit and follow-up on tender and proposal opportunities.
Attend bid clarification sessions with clients.
Conduct on-site assessments with the aim of selecting appropriate water and/or wastewater solutions
Prepare reports detailing the findings and recommendations of the above assessment
Review literature
Select technology based on site specific conditions and requirements
Consult with clients regarding appropriate treatment options
Design, cost and schedule preferred treatment plant
Technical supervision of treatment plant installation and commissioning
Technical supervision of operational treatment plants
Research & Development and pilot trials of water and wastewater processes
Process support and troubleshoot during commissioning, process testing and plant operation
Produce project spec sheets on project completion
Develop technical marketing material
HAZOP
Pump and mixer sizing and specification
Depending on the experience of the incumbent, the above duties will initially be under guidance. However, within a relatively short period of time the candidate will be required to be sufficiently confident to progress with limited management control.
An incumbent with the following skill set would be advantageous:
