Process Engineer

Coca-Cola Beverage - South Africa - Wadeville is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to conduct analytical and micro quality control tests, compile reports, and communicate out-of-line specifications so that the quality of the product and package are maintained in line with company standards, costs are minimized, and records are available for audit purposes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Conducted and recorded visual quality control tests
2. Conducted and recorded physical quality control tests
3. Inspected raw materials
4. Completed and issued reports
5. Maintained a safe and clean work area
6. Managed own development and performance
7. Reported non-conformances and negative trends

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications / Experience:

• Matric with maths and science
• Completed a 3-year tertiary qualification (BSC Microbiology, ND Food Technology or ND Biotechnology)
• 2 years quality control experience in an FMCG environment, especially microbiology experience
