Process Controller I x2 - Upington Dried Fruit Plant

Responsibilities

1. Monitor & adjust gauges and instruments
2. Record changes in utilities & raw materials on log sheets
3. Operate a section of a process plant
4. Ensure safety, health & hygiene
5. Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and product quality
6. Report machinery and equipment faults
7. Perform regular maintenance by identifying and correcting minor errors in the equipment and cleaning on laser sorting equipment
8. Program and optimize laser sorting processes

Qualifications

1. Grade 12, or Equivalent Qualification
2. 2-5 years production/maintenance experience in FMCG environment
3. Experience in food processing and packaging
4. Health and safety standards
5. Effective communication within technical contexts
6. Problem solving
7. First line maintenance will be advantageous
