Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Private Equity Analyst located in Cape Town, South Africa. The Private Equity Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial modelling, analysing investments, preparing high-quality presentations, undertaking market research, running due diligence process and providing insights and recommendations for private equity transactions. The analyst will work closely with the investment team to evaluate and execute investment opportunities, assess potential risks, and contribute to the decision-making process. The analyst must have strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst or Actuary with a minimum of 4 year’s experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance or transactions services.
• Strong knowledge of finance and private equity
• Experience in financial modelling and investment analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate financial data
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly competent in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
