Job description

Qualifications Required:

  1. A Senior Certificate (essential)
  2. A relevant qualification (preferred)
  3. A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in a senior sales position within the Corporate Sector
  4. Technical Knowledge as per the below Products: Product Knowledge including VOIP, Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, WIFI, Networking, Client Computing & DataCentre Solutions (Avaya, Microsoft, Crestron, Extron, Poly, CISCO, Huawei, Yealink, Audio Codes, HP, Dell, VM Ware)
  5. Should have achieved a target performance of more than 75% over the past 3 years
  6. Existing client base

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market the Company, its Products, Solutions, and continuously improve the Clients perception of the Company
  2. The Account Manager must have a good understanding of the following: Client Organisational Structure, Client Environment, Client decision-making process, Clients KPIs, Client Projects and Strategic direction, Client Procurement cycles and processes, Understand the competitive landscape.
  3. Provide Clients with continuous Product and Solutions updates
  4. Responsible for the day-to-day management of current Clients and to generate new business
  5. Achieve Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets
  6. Maintain and grow market share within the Corporate Sector
  7. Provide weekly feedback on pipelines and quotations as well as strategic initiatives for projects
  8. Conduct and submit monthly sales forecasting
  9. Update Sales Tools and relevant systems, along with the Customer Information Sheet
  10. Client calls, physical visits to all clients at least once every week, a minimum of 12 Client visits per week
  11. Client calls: Telephonic to all Clients at least once a week
  12. Must be able to do daily call planning on all Accounts allocated
  13. Prepare and provide clients with quotations on request
  14. Follow up on a bi-monthly basis on quotations (possible and already distributed)
  15. Ensure the Client is updated on deliveries and order progress as and when needed
  16. Do deliveries if required
  17. Provide after-sales support to clients
  18. Follow up on invoices and payments
  19. Attend weekly debtors meetings
  20. Attend product training sessions
  21. Ensure internal training is up to date on a quarterly basis
  22. Attend sales meetings & marketing events
  23. Assistance as and when required with tender submissions
  24. Ad-hoc requests as and when required

Other Requirements:

  1. Own transport
  2. Fluent in Afrikaans & English (speak & write)
