Location: North West (ideally around Wirral)
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum, DOE + Benefits!
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

What You’ll Do

As our Principal Project Engineer, you will:

• Manage multiple complex projects, from initial concept to completion.
• Collaborate directly with senior client teams, including Directors and VPs.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory standards.
• Deliver innovative engineering improvements through feasibility studies and CAPEX forecasts.
• Lead site operations, overseeing contractors, quality control, and safety inspections.
• Act as the principal contractor under CDM regulations when required.
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
• Provide regular progress reports and handle change requests.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• A proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Flexibility to travel across mainland UK for client engagements.

It would be great if you had:

• IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications or familiarity with APM/Prince 2 methodology.
• Experience with ERP systems or similar tools.
